Planning to go to the gym but you never go?

Wendy gym 2A lot of people tell me they want to go to the gym more often. They also give me a long list of reasons why they don’t go the gym. They all have a one thing in common, they know they should go to the gym to live a healthier lifestyle. Are you the same? Is your list of reasons not to go to the gym longer than the list why you should go? This will help you to make the first work outs a bit easier!

Take action
Take action, subscribe for a membership at a gym. Find a friend to subscribe together if you need some support or subscribe online. Do what works for you as long as you take this first step. Not sure about a membership? Start with a week or a month pass. As long as you make the first step!

Buy new work out gear
Work out gear can be as expensive or as cheap as you want. So buy an outfit that fits your budget. A new outfit will help you to motivate you to go to the gym. Do you have plans to go to the gym in the weekend? Make sure you put on your gym gear when you wake up. Wearing your work out outfit motivates you even more!

Be prepared
Do you want to go to the gym before work? Make sure you have everything ready the night before. Pack a bag with everything you need, prepare your breakfast the evening before and set your alarm a bit earlier. Do you want to go to the gym after gym? Make sure you have your gym gear with you so you don’t have to go home before you go to the gym.

Make it a habit
Make your work out a habit. Try to go on the same days every week. You will see you get used to it really fast. And from the moment it becomes a habit you will see it isn’t as hard at it maybe sounds!

Set a goal
Set a goal, this will help you to understand what you train for. And this will motivate you, especially on the hard days. Make sure you set a goal of something you really like. And I promise you, ones you start to see results it will become an addiction!
