I love bean burgers. The options are endless and they are very easy and fast to make. I make protein chickpeas burgers for dinner but also for lunch. You can eat these burgers with bread but my favorite combination is with sweet potatoes or cottage cheese!
This is what you need for 4 medium size protein chickpeas burgers:
– 1 can chickpeas (240 grams)
– 1 red onion
– 1 egg
– 1 cup vegan protein powder
– 5 tabelspoons of oats
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika powder
– a bit of peper and salt
Pre head the oven on 180 degrees
Rinse the chickpeas with cold water. Put all the ingredients in a bowl except the protein powder. Mix everything with a kitchen machine until it becomes dough. Add the protein powder to the dough and mix everything with a spoon.
Split the dough in four parts and make four burgers. Put the burgers in the oven and bake them for 20-25 minutes.
