Homemade crackers with homemade spreads

homemade crackers with homemade spreadLast weekend I had friends over for diner. I love to present my friends homemade food. These homemade oat crackers and colorful homemade spreads are simple to make and taste delicious. But what I like to most are the colors; pink, orange and yellow. Do you have friends over soon? Or have you planned to stay home for an evening and you want something to snack? This snack will shine up your evening.

This is what you need for the homemade oat crackers:
– 75 gram oat flour
– 60 gram spelt flour
– 2 spoons amaranth
– 2 spoons hemp seeds
– 2 spoons sunflower seeds
– 2 spoons linseed
– 2 spoons coconut oil
– 100 ml water
– sesame seeds

Pre head the oven on 180 degrees.
Heat the coconut oil until it is liquid. Mix all the ingredients including the coconut oil until it is dough. Roll out the dough until it is 0,5 cm tick. Scatter the sesame seeds on the dough. Use a knife to cut the dough in “crackers” pieces before you place the dough in the oven. Back the dough for 30 minutes. Let the crackers cool down for a few minutes and break the crackers in to pieces.

This is what you need for the homemade dips:

Pink beetroot spread:
– 80 gram soft goat cheese
– 40 grams cooked beetroot
– 8 walnuts
– pepper and salt (add as much as you like)

Mix all ingredients except 2 walnuts in a kitchen machine. Taste the spread to add more pepper or salt. Add the 2 walnuts and mix again, very short the keep the dip crunchy.

Yellow mango dip:
– 80 gram soft goat cheese
– 3/4 mango
– pepper and salt (add as much as you like)

Mix all ingredients in a kitchen machine. Taste the spread to add more pepper and salt.

Red sun dried tomato spread
– 80 gram soft goat cheese
– 8 sun dried tomato’s
– 1,5 spoon olive oil
– 15 gram sunflower seeds
– pepper and salt (as much as you like)

Mix all ingredients except the sunflower seeds. Taste the spread to add pepper and salt. Add the sunflower seeds and mix again, very short to keep the spread crunchy.

With love, from Dublin..
