Homemade crackers

homemade crackersCrackers are delicious. I love to eat them with hummus, cheese or cottage cheese. But when you buy crackers you don’t know what they contain. I prefer to eat as less e-numbers as possible. And homemade taste always better than food from a supermarket. That’s why I make my own crackers inspired by Rens Kroes. It is simple, healthy, e-number free and delicious. You can save the crackers for weeks. Make these crackers in the weekend and enjoy then during the week.

This is what you need:
3 spoons sunflower seeds
3 spoons linseed
7 spoons sesame seeds
3 spoons puffed amaranth
3 spoons oats
80 grams spelt flour
90 grams buckwheat flour
2 spoons melted coconut oil
a bit of salt
125 ml water

Pre head the oven on 170 degrees.
Add all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix everything until the ingredients becomes dough (sometimes you need a a bit more water). Put the dough on a piece of baking paper. Use a rolling pin to unroll the dough. Cut with a knife the dough in cracker peaces. Put the dough in the oven. After 45 minutes your homemade crackers are ready!

With love, from Dublin..
