Everything you need to know about almonds, walnuts and more

almonds+Nuts fit perfect in a healthy lifestyle. They contain “good” fat, which helps you to manage your cholesterol. Nuts are a good source of iron, protein, calcium and vitamin B. Not all nuts are healthy and have those benefits. These 4 are my favorites!

Almonds contain fibers. Fibers benefit your digestion. The fibers give you a full feeling. This helps you to manage your weight. Almonds are a good source of vitamin B and E. Vitamin B is good for you heart, brain, hair and nails. Vitamin E benefit your nerves, skin, muscles (!) and blood. 100 grams of Almonds contains 25 grams of protein. This makes Almonds one of the best sources for protein. You can use almonds or almonds flowers in all different recipes. Almonds are perfect for baking, cooking, salads and breakfasts.

Walnuts contain Omega 3 which is good for heart and circulation. Walnuts also contain “good” fat which benefit your cholesterol. These nuts are a good source for protein and fibers. And they benefit the process of calcium in your body which is good your bones. The melatonin in walnuts help you to have a good night sleep.

Cashew nuts
Cashew nuts also contain the “good” fat. This benefits your heart and brain. Cashew nuts contain magnesium which makes your muscles and nerves stronger. Cashew nuts are a great source for zinc. Zinc protects you against diseases. This nut contains phosphorus which is good for your bones and teeth.

Hazelnuts have the same benefits as the other nuts. They are good for your heart and brain. Unfortunatly I’m allergic for the hazelnut. Hazelnuts are delicious with dark chocolate and are great alternative for the 3 nuts above.

Nuts are good food to eat before or after a work out. You can take nuts as a snack or add it to you salad. I love nuts and I always eat nuts with pleasure! What about you? Do you like them?
